Updating to the latest iOS should help your phone

ios updateBing! There it is, another iOS update ready to be installed. But this time you hestitate as there goes more memory.  You ask yourself, Is it worth it? The answer is usually yes because most of the time, any bugs that might be in the software are taken out.  It's a continual work in progress on keeping up with the latest. With this last iOS update 11.4, is crucial if you have had your phone fixed and now having touch issues.  As Apple, even though they deny it, is playing with your phone if you had an independent repair shop fix it.  But with the latest update, that issue should be resolved.

Repaired your screen and now having issues?  Make sure to update to the latest iOS update. Then you want to power your phone off for a minute and power it back on.  If you are still having issues, try to do a soft reset, sometimes it is also called a hard reset.  This resets your firmware, NOT your data on the phone.

For the iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, SE, 6, 6 Plus, 6s, and 6s Plus, it is the same.  Press and hold the power/sleep/wake button and the home button at the same time.  Keep holding. The screen will go black then come up with the Apple logo.  When you see the Apple logo, let go of both buttons.  This can take approximately 10 seconds.  Be patient.

For the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus: Press and hold the volume down button and the power/sleep/wake button at the same time. Keep holding. The screen will go black then come up with the Apple logo.  When you see the Apple logo, let go of both buttons.  This can take approximately 10 seconds.  Again be patient.

For the 8, 8 Plus, and X, it's alittle more complex: Press and quickly release the volume up button. Press and quickly release the volume down button. Next press and hold down the power/sleep/wake side button. Keep holding. The screen will go black then come up with the Apple logo.  When you see the Apple logo, let go of the side button.  Be patient, this can take approximately 10 seconds.
